To apply for an e-Visa to the Philippines, you will need to open the online visa portal. The e-Visa used to get issued through the Philippines' official manila website.

For a work visa, you will need to submit documents of yourself such as your degree, along with all your educational records and work history if any. You will also need to provide information about the organization that is willing to hire you.

If you have applied for an e-Visa under a temporary visitor visa, then you will receive your Visa in 7 days. The process of issuance of the e-Visa is that it is completely issued online, so it will not require you to go to the embassy. The e-Visa is sent to you through an email address to the email address that you provided on your application form. The e-Visa is in pdf form which you can download and print to show at the immigration counter.

The visa normally takes up to 7-20 days to get issued. The number of days taken to issue a visa mainly depends on the country of the applicant, and if there is any shortage of documents sent by the applicant. For people that are applying for work or student visas, the visa can take up to 20 days to issue.

The transit Visa can not be issued online like an e-Visa. If you want to travel to the Philippines even for a short time, you can see if your country is on the list of countries that are exempted from the visa for up to a 3-day stay in the Philippines.
